Saligrama Puja in 10 Minutes

This Puja in 10 minutes i have copied from an SMSO magazine. This was published in 1997.
Have your bath, Nama and Mudra and Sandya-vandana. That includes a 3 minute meditation on ten Gayatri Japa.Collect these things in the available time in the morning. Get a few Tulasi Dala and prepare Gandha for puja. These two are the minimumrequired for puja. Now, 10 minutes are enough for the Pooja.
Take out the Saligrama and Prathima. Place them in the plate and wash them with pure water. Then do Abhisheka, using Shanka and Ghanta, chanting Purusha-sookta.{ cassetes and CDs are available in case you dont know Purusha sookta}If even this is not possiblerepeat chanting of Gayathri aloud. Do Abhisheka thrice with Shanka. Wipe the Saligrama with clean devara vastra. Offer Gandha [wet ball] and do archana. If you dont know Namavali, repeat "OM NAMO NARAYANAYA".If there is no time for Dhoopa and Deepa Arathi, offer mantra akshitha instead. Do it with sincere Bakthi, mentally expressing your helplessness.
Offer something for Naividya. If nothing is available, in rare cases a cup of pure water is equally good. The Lord accepts it NOT as mere water, but as a cup of your bakthi in liquid form.[Bakthi Rasa]. Do mangala Arathi and
close the Puja box and place it in its place. Get up and pray for a minute with folded hands and offer Shashtanga namaskara. What is expected of you is only this or this little, and it should be done with Bhakthi says the lord.
If you have performed all the that was stipulated above, you puja is complete. This puja will take 10 mintues of your time and return will give you 12 hours of mental strength in all your out door/indoor activities till you go to bed. The day should begin with Saligrama Puja. When you do puja do it with a peacefull manner.

Thank you. This is so useful for all of us who dont have time for a detailed puja and feel guilty for not doing proper puja. Very nicely written!

In these days it's very difficult to dousa every day. It's ok if you do this on Sundays holidays important puja days.
